Πανόραμα Σχεδίων Χρηματοδότησης από την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση
Το Πανόραμα Σχεδίων Χρηματοδότησης από την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση ήταν μια πρωτοβουλία του Κέντρου Επιχειρηματικότητας του Πανεπιστήμιου UCLan Cyprus και των τοπικών Αναπτυξιακών Φορέων, Επιμελητηρίων καθώς και Δημαρχείων της επαρχίας Λάρνακας και Αμμοχώστου.
Σκοπός της ημερίδας ήταν η ενημέρωση των τοπικών οργανισμών και επιχειρήσεων για τις ευκαιρίες άντλησης χρηματοδότησης μέσω Ευρωπαϊκών κονδυλίων και άλλων ερευνητικών προγραμμάτων

Panorama of European Funding
The Panorama of European Funding was organised by CEDAR (Centre for Entrepreneurial Development – Alliance – Research), in cooperation with local development agencies, chambers, and municipalities of Larnaka and Famagusta regions.
The event, which was sponsored by KPMG took place on Thursday 6th of February, 2014 and attracted more than 150 delegates from a range of groups, including representatives of local organisations, business owners, young professionals, MBAs, Alumni, and social enterprises.
The forum aimed at building awareness on emerging opportunities regarding financial support from European Funds and other research programs, featuring the following presentations:
1. Structural Funds/ Διαθρωτικά Ταμεία [Περιφερειακή ανάπτυξη και κοινωνική συνοχή]: Mr Adonis Constantinides (Directorate-General for European Programmes, Coordination & Development) informed on programs geared for regional development and social cohesion.

2. Horizon 2020 & COST [Έρευνα, καινοτομία και τεχνολογική ανάπτυξη]: Dr Kalypso Sepou (Cyprus research promotion foundation) and her team presented a number of schemes (and their respective National Contact Points) on ICT, Tourism, Energy, & Research.

3. Erasmus+ [κινητικότητα φοιτητών και ερευνητών, εκπαίδευση, κατάρτιση, νεολαία και αθλητισμός]: Mrs Nadia Karayianni, European Office of Cyprus informed on the new Erasmus + in support of student and researcher mobility, education and training, and youth and sports initiatives.
