Professor Loukas Glyptis, Director of CEDAR
Dr Glyptis is a Professor of Accounting and the Head of the School of Business and Management. His current research interests are focused on the areas of inter-firm cost management and control, accounting and control practises of shipping firms and management accounting and control practises of family firms. He is a reviewer for the Qualitative Research in Accounting & Management Journal while he supervises a PhD student investigating the collective entrepreneurial learning in family business entrepreneurial teams.
Professor Glyptis maintains professional memberships in the British Accounting & Finance Association (BAFA). He is an HRDA certified Trainer on Finance and Accounting for Non-Financial Decision-Makers while he is a visiting Scholar at the University of Piraeus and the University of Aegean.

Dr Fanos Tekelas, Director of CEDAR
Dr Tekelas is an Assistant Professor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the Course Leader of BA Business Administration programme at UCLan Cyprus. The crux of his research lies in examining the strategic postures of small and medium enterprises and the impact on their performance. Dr Tekelas’ research interests also focus on entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial behaviour in family firms.
Dr Tekelas is a reviewer for the British Food Journal and he maintains professional memberships in the Regional Studies Association and the Lancashire Institute for Economic and Business Research and he is an HRDA certified trainer. He is currently representing the Republic of Cyprus as a member of the management committee in the European Cooperation in Science & Technology, Cost Action CA16206: Empowering the next generation of social enterprise scholars. Dr Tekelas has over 16 years of professional experience in small family-owned hotels while he has an established network with a significant number of family-owned hotels in Cyprus.
